Free e Day!

This is an amazing event/site/cool thing and I want to share it with everybody and hope it gets wide broadcast.

This group has named Dec 1 2009 as a day for everybody doing arts online to give something away free to the public. Some people are contributing songs or poems or art, some are allowing free downloads of stories or even whole novels and magazines for that one day.

This is exactly the sort of out-of-the-box, viral, engaging publicity that New Media types are all about and I'll follow this event with interest.

Beyond "guerilla promotion", these guys might be describe as "militantly indie". Seriously there are vast amounts of information here for indie writers and other artists.

BOOK BUZZR
This is like a different online delivery tool for enovels. Not a blog, but a widget that reads like a book and can be placed on sites. Sort of a combination registry/publisher.
